Mowing rounds, rain reschedules and quotes for gardeners
Rain is forecast for Tuesday and you have eleven gardens to move before tonight. We build the rounds, the messages and the quotes, so a wet day costs you a few taps on the phone.
What can AI do for a garden and lawn care business?
AI can restart your round each spring by messaging last year's customers with their old day. It keeps the mowing round in order and moves it when rain is forecast, with a message to each customer. It quotes new gardens from photos and offers hedge cuts and autumn clean-ups to the customers who need them.
You plan the week on Sunday night in a chat, and the customers hear about it without you making the calls.
Each garden keeps its notes: the gate, the dog, the mower height, the bed the owner doesn't want touched. The chat replies in the language each customer writes in, and you read every conversation in your own.
What we build for garden and lawn care
Calls you miss with the mower running
You won't hear the phone over a mower. If you miss a call, the caller gets a WhatsApp or text within a minute, asking what the garden needs, with a link to book a quote visit.
If you want, an AI assistant answers the call instead. It books the job into your diary and sends you a short summary. Anything it can't handle comes to you, and it tells callers they're speaking to an assistant. We set it up on a proven voice platform and connect it to your diary.

The spring restart
In March the system messages each of last year's regulars with their old round day and gap. Replies fill the round for you. Customers who want weekly instead of fortnightly get moved to a day with space.
You see who said yes, who wants changes and who went quiet. The messages run through our WhatsApp automation or SMS, whichever the customer uses.

Rounds that move with the rain
Each evening the system checks tomorrow's forecast for your area. If rain covers most of the working day, it asks you whether to move the round, and to which day.
You tap yes. Every customer on that round gets a message with the new day, and the following days shift to make room. We plan the shuffle with the operations automation we build for firms with crews on the road.
Quotes from photos of the garden
A new customer sends three photos and asks what a monthly tidy would cost. The chat asks what you would: rough lawn size, hedge length and height, access for the mower, who takes the green waste.
You get a draft quote built from your price list and a note of anything to check on site. Approve it from your phone between gardens. The customer approves the price with one tap, the photos and the approval stay on the garden's record, and a quote nobody answers gets one follow-up. An AI employee can take these enquiries at night and on Sundays.
Hedges, leaves and the jobs between rounds
Hedge cuts, autumn leaf clean-ups and winter pruning pay well and fill the quiet months. The system knows which gardens have hedges and big trees, and when you last did each job.
In October, the customers with trees get a leaf clean-up offer with two dates. Hedge customers hear from you at the gap you set. We run these campaigns with workflow automation that you switch on once.
Notes on each garden for the crew
The crew gets the day's gardens in order, with the notes for each one: the gate, the dog, the cutting height, the bed with the new bulbs.
A crew member who spots a broken fence panel sends a photo. You get it as a job to quote. The garden's notes live in a customer record we build for your business.

How much does a round and booking system for gardeners cost?
A round and booking system for a garden and lawn care business costs a fixed price to build and a monthly rate to run. The audit that scopes it is free. If you need a new website with a quote form, our managed websites start from $790 at launch prices.
WhatsApp and SMS providers charge per message. You can use your own provider accounts and they bill you direct, or we manage them and estimate the cost from your gardens and visits. For a first number, estimate your build. See how the build price and the monthly rate work.
Questions gardeners and lawn care firms ask us
How do I get last year's garden customers back each spring?
To get last year's garden customers back, send each one a message in March that offers their old round day. The system sends each regular their day and their gap, weekly or fortnightly, with buttons to say yes, change or skip the year. Replies fill the round, and customers who don't answer get one more message a few days later.
Can software move my mowing round when it rains?
Yes. Each evening the system checks the forecast for your area. If rain covers most of the next working day, it asks you whether to move the mowing round and proposes a new day. You approve with one tap, each customer on the round gets a message with the new day, and the following days shift to make room.
Can AI quote garden maintenance from photos?
AI can draft a garden maintenance quote from photos, using your own price list. The chat asks the questions you would ask: rough lawn size, hedge length and height, access for the mower and who takes the green waste. You approve the quote or change it, and anything the photos can't show gets flagged for a site visit.
How do I fill the winter months as a gardener?
Many gardeners fill the winter with hedge cuts, leaf clean-ups and pruning sold to their own round customers. The system knows which gardens have hedges and big trees and when you last did each job. It offers those customers a clean-up or a cut at the right time of year, with two dates to pick from.
Do my crew need to download a new app?
No. Your crew get the day's gardens and the notes for each one in Telegram or WhatsApp on the phones they already carry. They report problems by sending a photo and a line of text. Customers get their messages by SMS or WhatsApp, and confirm, move or cancel a visit with one tap.
Can you work with the spreadsheet or app I use for my round?
Often, yes. If your app lets other software read and change bookings, through an API or webhooks, we add the messages and the rain moves on top of it. If your round lives in a spreadsheet or a notebook, we move your customers and their gardens into a record we build for you. The free audit checks which applies before you pay anything.
Do I need this if my gardening app already sends reminders?
Maybe not. Keep the gardening app. We add only what it can't do: WhatsApp messages, rebooking at each customer's own interval, the list of customers who have gone quiet and answering the phone when you can't. For a gardener that also means moving the round when rain is forecast. If your gardening app already covers all of that, the free audit will tell you, and you won't need us.
How much does a booking system for a gardening business cost?
A booking system for a gardening business costs a fixed price to build and a monthly rate to run, and the audit that scopes it is free. Our managed websites start from $790 at launch prices if you need a new site. The monthly rate is set for the scope we agree, and we re-quote if the scope or the number of messages changes a lot.
